Vietnam 1965 - 1975 (VG)

New Program "Operation Starlite"

This is the program for the introductory scenario "Operation Starlite" of "Vietnam 1965 - 1975" (VG). Good for practicing the game.
The rules of the game is not included in the program. (you must be an owner of the game.)

Main Feature:
1. The Movement Point indicator
When you drag a unit on the map, the movement point allowance and remaining one are displayed.

2. Hex number display
The hex number is popped up when you click in the center of the hex.

3. Flip, mark and eliminate
By right-click, the pop-up menu will appear. You can flip the unit (if is is applicable), mark it to indicate the end of the operation, or eliminate it from the map.

4. Pre-set units
Designated units are on the map at the designated location. Ready to play.

5. Engagement
The program knows the combat and artillery strength of each unit. Just by right-click or drag box selection, you can designate units as "under engagement". Their combat strength are automatically transferred to the CRT's fields by category to hit "Roll Die" button.

Drag selected units are red-outlined and considered "ready to fight".

6. Computer-aided CRT
The same function as of the program "Vietnam v.1.0" (see below). Known bugs were fixed.

Notes:
The Movement Point indicator will not consider the effects of enemy ZOC.
When you drag the counter, your mouse pointer must go through the center of hexes otherwise the MP indicator will not calculate the consuming MP correctly. Keep this in your mind especially when you drag at the edge of the unit.
When the mouse pointer reaches outside of the play area (Quang Ngai) while you drag the unit, the MP indicator will not work.

VG「Vietnam」の入門シナリオ「Operation Starlite」のプログラム。
主な機能:
ユニットをマウスドラッグして移動すると、残存する移動力が表示されます。
ユニットを右マウスクリックすると、メニューが表れ、ユニットを裏返しにしたり、除去したりできます。
マウスドラッグでユニットを選択すると、ユニットの外側が赤枠で囲まれ、戦闘力がCRTのフィールドに表示されます。
「Roll Die」をクリックすると戦闘結果が表示されます。
少なくとも、コマが吹き飛ぶことはなくなります。
